The position of Social Media Manager is the first of its kind at FischTank to support our growing roster of prospective clients seeking social media campaigns that range from baseline content publishing to robust, daily monitoring and engagement. For that reason, we are looking for a candidate who can leverage their experience, particularly B2B and for corporate leadership, to develop programs and work with existing colleagues to execute. FischTank’s clients typically span sustainability/cleantech, B2B tech, real estate and professional services, and healthcare / biotech.
FischTank’s new Social Media Manager should be a self starter who will be given the opportunity to build out FischTank’s social media department, likely influencing hiring decisions and ultimately managing their team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Scheduling posts/posting in real-time across multiple client social media networks including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube; community management; monthly and quarterly analytics reporting
- Creating social content that is both unique and shareable but also aligns with the clients’ voices and respective business mission
- Building both audience and engagement on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis to amplify clients’ digital presence in front of key audiences
- Oversee social media monitoring and rapid response (when necessary)
- Make proactive recommendations to current strategies to enhance results
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- At least three (3+) years of social media management experience (preference to those having worked with B2B companies but not required)
- Demonstrated understanding of social media strategies for business, including content and asset creation, audience growth, follower engagement, driving outcomes through CTAs, and more
- Ability to implement best practices and processes that are easily shared and repeated across accounts
- Understanding of paid social media marketing across all platforms
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills are needed to work with clients and staff
- The ability to manage and/or advise on several clients at once
- Organization!
- Fundamental understanding of media relations and communications
Compensation: $60,000 to $80,000 dependent on experience
