Omar is a Senior Account Executive at FischTank PR. He began his career at a local PR agency in Santa Cruz specializing in B2B tech. Five years later, Omar has worked on and supported PR campaigns across various industries, including climate tech, non-profits, social impact and venture capital.
To him, the fun in PR lies in weaving together stories and narratives that elevate and amplify the missions and impact of his clients. Some of Omar’s biggest wins have landed his clients in Axios, Cheddar News, CleanTechnica, Electrek and Smart Cities Dive.
Omar graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Film and Digital Media. Outside of work, he is a self-proclaimed homebody who enjoys cooking, baking and moving onto his next hyperfixation. Currently, the spotlight hobby is collecting Pokémon and Disney Lorcana cards.
