Gina Gacad is an Account Director at FischTank. She’s spent her career primarily working with B2B and B2C tech companies, from purpose-driven startups on the cutting edge of new technologies (and the VC firms funding them) to bigwigs like AWS, Twilio, and Unity Technologies.
Going into PR was kismet for Gina as someone whose life has always revolved around storytelling. To her, messaging is like Tetris — taking all the parts of the core story and fitting them together in a way that resonates with different audiences. She is dedicated to pinpointing the right story to tell and keeping her team as organized as possible to produce excellent results. As she’s progressed through her career, she’s landed stories in top tier business and tech outlets including Axios, Fast Company, Fortune, Good Morning America, Wall Street Journal, Wired, and more.
Whether it’s working directly with C-suite execs, writing bylines, hand delivering products to reporters, or collaborating with clients to provide them with strategic guidance, Gina’s pretty much done it all in the PR world. Additionally, she’s led analyst relations programs, expanded agencies’ DEI programs, and even ran point for events hosted by tech companies and grassroots organizations.
When her laptop is closed, you can find Gina at the farmers market, tending to her 19 plant children, or with friends in the park and on the subway. She also enjoys making things (collaging, watercoloring, woodworking, etc.), cooking for her favorite people, and trying out the newest NYC spot that pops up on her FYP.
