Keely McNeme is a Senior Account Executive at FischTank PR, specializing in climate tech/sustainability. Her primary media strategy is bringing climate into the mainstream, pitching non-climate journalists on climate stories relevant to their beat.
Keely grew up in the suburbs outside of Washington, D.C., which fostered her initial interest in policy and media. A high school project on environmentally friendly deicers exposed her to the climate space, and she’s dedicated her career to the sector.
Keely graduated from Southern Methodist University with BAs in Political Science, Corporate Communication and Public Affairs, and International Relations and a minor in History. When not pitching journalists, she loves to foster cats with her local shelter (shoutout to her own rescue kitties, Alfie and Millie!), read, and find new restaurants to try.
